This fundraising effort, focused on recruiting a new specialist and providing patients with faster service, will significantly impact our community,\u201d explained Hollis Chamberlain, Chair of the Annual Campaign Organizing Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the campaign\u2019s financial objective will allow two important pieces of specialized equipment to be purchased, for ambulatory care and the laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSuch a campaign requires many volunteers working together to achieve this common objective. We are very proud of our team, who have already accepted this challenge, and we want to thank them for their commitment.&nbsp; The members include Hollis Chamberlain, Campaign Chair, Denis Roy and Danielle Goyette, Corporate and Association Representatives, Alice H\u00e9bert, Chair of the Roses Radiothon \u2013 Chaleur, Dr. Marc-Andr\u00e9 Doucet, Chair of the Charity Golf Tournament and Dr. Marilyne Boss\u00e9, Chair of the Northern Star \u2013 Chaleur,\u201d added Jean-Guy Robichaud, Chair of the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Campaign Committee is already very proud to be able to announce their first donor.&nbsp; Friends of Healthcare, a major, long-term partner of the Foundation, has already announced a $10,000 commitment toward the objective. &nbsp;Friends of HealthCare is a non-profit organization chaired by Ren\u00e9 Beaudet that holds bingos year-round in support of the health sector. &nbsp;&nbsp;Since the start of this partnership, the organization has made over $1 million in commitments to improve health care here in our region.
