BATHURST \u2013 The Foundation forged a partnership with you nearly 30 years ago to improve the health care services here in our region!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since 1990, the\nChaleur Regional Hospital Foundation has provided over $18.5 million to support\nof the health care delivered by the Chaleur Regional Hospital. These funds have\nhad a multiplier effect, with the government in turn providing $210,591,825 for\nthe same health care sectors, including for the hospital\u2019s expansion and\ndevelopment. In short, many of our hospital\u2019s health care services have been\nmaintained, developed and strengthened through the Foundation\u2019s efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last year, the\nFoundation contributed $559,612 to our hospital for your health. This success\nresulted from a collective effort and we are extremely grateful for your\nsupport, which allows our health professionals to provide you with the best\npossible health care services. This year, donations were earmarked for the\nfollowing sectors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
$55,438 \u2013 diagnostic sectors (9.91 %)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
$486,367 \u2013 patient care sectors (86.91 %)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
$17,807 \u2013 training and other (3.18 %)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
