The Hospital Foundation\n in the Chaleur region and in the Acadian Peninsula wish to congratulate\n Mrs. Denise Robichaud, and to thank everyone who participated in this \nyear\u2019s draw! With the participation of businesses in the Chaleur region \nand the Acadian Peninsula, Mrs. Robichaud will receive approximately \n$7,000 in prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This important activity involving the \nChaleur region and Acadian Peninsula took place as part of the Roses \nRadiothon. Thanks to the people of the Acadian Peninsula and Chaleur \nregion who participated by purchasing $2 tickets, over $17,500 was \nraised to improve the health care delivered by the regions\u2019 four \nhospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI wish to thank everyone who \nparticipated in the Giant Christmas Stocking draw and who made this \nactivity a success. I would also like to take this opportunity to \nencourage people to participate in the various activities taking place \nin your region as part of the Roses Radiothon 2017 between now and April\n 28. The Roses Radiothon is \u2018In Our Region, for Our Region!\u2019\u201d declared \nJoseph Lanteigne, Chair of the Roses Radiothon, Caraquet region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Roses Radiothon 2017 will continue until April 28 with a number of fundraising activities planned in coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Roses Radiothon has a $100,000 \nobjective earmarked to acquire equipment used in the fight against \ncancer. It should also be noted that 80% of the funds raised on the \nAcadian Peninsula will help support the facilities in Caraquet, \nTracadie-Sheila, and Lam\u00e8que.
