Needs to be met for northern hospitals
The funds raised through the North Star 2021 campaign will be used to purchase several pieces of medical equipment in the 9 health care facilities to meet the needs of our hospitals in order to continue to make a difference in the lives of the people in our community by allowing them to have access to quality health care close to home.
Mini-Trees are available now for $2, $5, $10 and $20 at UNI locations and in select businesses in participating regions.
« UNI is extremely proud to be a supporter of the annual Northern Star Campaign and to partner again this year with the nine participating foundations that are there to promote, support and improve the quality of health and wellness services for the population in their territory. This campaign is primarily aimed at the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and the development of certain facilities that provide access to health care in our local and regional health care institutions. By supporting the annual campaign through the purchase of mini-trees available at our points of service, you are offering the best in health care to the entire population and allowing health care professionals to do what they do best: treat, heal and save the lives of patients », says Robert Moreau, President and CEO of UNI Financial Cooperation.
« A huge thank you to UNI Financial Cooperation for their involvement in the Northern Star Campaign as well as all of the Network Foundations. Your partnership is a perfect example of what we can accomplish when we all work together towards the same goal. Your boundless generosity and dedication contribute greatly to the development of health care in our community. You are an integral part of our organization’s success and tangibly benefit our patient care offerings. Keep up the good work and thank you again for all that you do. » says Dre France Desrosiers, CEO of the Vitality Health Network.
The evening of the lighting of the dedicated trees, the fairy figurines and the community trees near the hospitals will take place on Wednesday, December 1. More than 200 trees will be illuminated in front of our hospitals.
