The 2021 Annual Campaign continues – the generosity of the community is outstanding!

BATHURST – The Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation is very grateful for the community’s support of its annual $350,000 campaign. The money raised will allow for the acquisition of equipment in the areas of Surgical Suite, Electrodiagnosis, Obstetrics, Ambulatory Care and Medical Imaging in order to continue our fight against cancer.  Please visit the following link for more information or to make a donation: Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation(fondationchaleur.ca).

The 2021 Annual Campaign includes activities such as the Roses Radiothon, the Charity Golf Tournament as well as the Northern Star which will be launched next month.  Thanks to the results of these activities and the great generosity of some donors, the Foundation is very proud to confirm that 83% of the objective has already been reached.  « We are very grateful for the outstanding support received to date.  We believe that the pandemic has been an important wake-up call for many people to realize the importance of health care in our country and we would like to thank those partners who have already accepted our invitation. », explained Mr. Hollis Chamberlain, chairman of the 2021 annual campaign committee.

The annual campaign continues until the end of December.  The committee members will continue their work over the next few months and are confident that the community will come together to achieve the goal.

Since 1990, the Foundation, a strong partner of the Chaleur Regional Hospital, has invested more than $12 million in projects directly affecting the quality of patient care, in addition to committing $5 million to the campaign for the hospital’s major renovation project.
